3D Printing Services

3D printing is a revolutionary technology , SG Prototype can provide this modeling services for you .

What is 3D printing ?

3D printing is a process to make a three dimensional objects from a 3D digital file.digital file.this is a additive processes , 3D printing created by laying down successive layers of material until the object is created. Each of these layers can be seen as a thinly sliced horizontal cross-section of the eventual object. This is the opposite of CNC machining .

3D printing enables you to produce complex (functional) shapes using less material than traditional manufacturing methods.Getting more and more fascinating.

Types of 3D Printing Technologies that we can do:

Stereo lithography (SLA):The surface of the product is smooth and the material is crisp.can be painted in a variety of colors on the parts surface.

Selective Laser Sintering (SLS):The product surface is not smooth, frosting, the surface color is difficult to adhesion.

Digital Light Processing (DLP):It can work many difference color ,not need paint on the surface ,the color has been synchronized to the surface of the model,it is suitable for batch production

Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM):This technologies will be leads to ribbing, and you can see lines from each layer, need post polishing or sandblasting to remove those lines.

Which materials we can do of our 3D printer?

With more and more metal materials that can be used in the 3D printer, the range of products that can be manufactured keep growing as well.

Currently our machines can work those materials :

3D metal printing in titanium alloy, stainless steel, magnesium steel,Silver,K gold and Aluminum alloy etc.

3D plastic printing in Resin,ABS,Nylon,Nylon+GF,PC ,PLA etc

Some special material :Rubber ,DLP,Ceramics,Wood etc.

Tolerance of our 3D printer?

The general tolerance for 3D printing is +/- 0.5mm-+/- 0.1mm. However, it is dependent on the structure of the parts.

Why choose 3D printing ?

1.Speed

One of the main advantages of 3D printing is the speed at which parts can be produced compared to traditional manufacturing methods.

2.Single step manufacture

3D printing can printed a parts in one step in a couple of hours ,once the CAD design finished and uploaded to the machine .it reduce the manufacturing process compared with the traditional manufacturing methods.

3D printing cost included 3 categories:machine operation costs, material cost and labor costs.

Machine operation costs: Machine operation costs are typically the lowest contributor to the overall cost of manufacture.

Material cost:The material cost for 3D printing varies significantly by technology. About $2-$5 per kg.The material cost is more cheaper than traditional manufacturing methods.

Labor costs: 3D printing is the the low cost of labor. Post processing aside, the majority of 3D printing services only need an operator to press a button.

Generally ,3D printing is very competitively costed compared to traditional manufacturing methods.

4. 3D printing reduced the designer time and money.

It can work on rapid prototype ,molding to reduce the cost of modify design and testing time.

5. 3D printer can work complexity parts to give the designers a large amount of design freedom.

6.Customization of design. 3D printing suitable for rapid prototype ,small batch production or mass production as you need.

7, Widely application
