The Plastic Injection Molding Process Unveiled

Material Prep ��: Choosing the right material matters. Load pellets, dry if needed.

• Conveying and Heating ��: A screw conveys pellets through a heated barrel, melting them at 180–300°C (material - specific).

• Injection Molding ❄️: Molten plastic is injected into a closed mold cavity under 50–200 MPa pressure, filling shapes.

• Cooling and Solidification: Mold cooling with chilled water/oil solidifies the plastic in 10–60 seconds, ensuring shape stability.

• Mold Opening and Ejection: The mold opens, parts are pushed out for finishing.

• Cycle Restart: Mold closes for the next cycle,with high - durability molds lasting 50,000–100,000 cycles.
